Learning Paths

We’ve developed a number of paths for you to enter into the technical industry in a way that fits your unique skills and interests. Our goal is to help you secure an above-living-wage career in tech - and we have a few options to get you there.

1

Phase 0 - Intro to Tech

Transitioning into the world of tech can be overwhelming. Many of our students enter our programs with little to no experience working with modern technology tools. So we’ve designed a special intro course to get you started. Our Phase 0 course will help you chart a path for your future while teaching you the foundational modern tech tools, including Zoom, Slack, the Google Suite, and more. During this course, each student will take a Skills Assessment test by our partners at PAIRIN and in-house logic test. From there, we’ll help you decide which of the following tracks is best for you!

2

Software Engineering

Our flagship program is our Software Engineering track. Through our customized curriculum and project-based structure, students learn today’s cutting-edge development technologies. The program prepares graduates for software engineering roles at top-tier technology companies.

Our curriculum starts with a front-end focus, covering web development technologies like Javascript, DOM manipulation, testing, Git/terminal/Github, AJAX, jQuery, Express, and React. We then tackle entry-level back-end technologies like NodeJS, MongoDB, and more. For the final two weeks of your program, you’ll complete a capstone project, which is showcased to our entire community during one of our quarterly demo days.

Typical careers: Front End Web Developer; Junior/Associate Engineer

Salary Median: $97000 (Built in Colorado)

3

Technical Sales

Our Technical Sales learning track equips you to secure an entry-level role as a Sales Development Rep (SDR), sometimes called Business Development Reps (BDRs) . SDRs work on companies' sales teams, focusing on sourcing and qualifying prospective leads. SDRs are key to the success of businesses across multiple industries. Gritly is our learning partner that provides the content for this track.

Typical careers: Sales Development Rep

Salary Median: $48,000 (Built in Colorado)

4

Technical Recruiting

Through our Technical Recruiting learning track, you can work to secure a role as a Technical Recruiter at one of many well-respected companies. Technical recruiting consists of sourcing talent for the tech industry, including a variety of specialties. Recruiters should have a strong knowledge of tech jargon and foundational technical skills. Recruiting Innovation is our learning partner that provides the content for this track.
