Boulder Strong

A Message of Support

We are devastated by the senseless violence that occurred in Boulder yesterday. The staff, team, and students of Justice Reskill are grieving the loss of 10 lives lost in our home community of Boulder. This collective pain is neither new nor abnormal. We are holding our friends and neighbors in this community in our hearts. We will grieve, we will heal, and we will demand better for all those impacted.

Colorado has the fifth highest rate of mass shootings per capita in the United States. The familiarity of this tragedy is something that Coloradans know all too well. Our community will face this collective pain together, grieve without spreading hate, and envision a world built on justice and safety. To this end, we promise our love, solidarity, and action.

We will be sending a $1,000 contribution to the Colorado Healing Fund and encourage others to join us.

We mourn the loss of these precious lives. Join us in holding space for those lost:
